Molding and Casting of a yellow soccer or baseball player

This little guy is from a dispensing machine. I thought the little soccer player (Although, it might be a baseball player) would be appropriate as a molding demonstration using ComposiMold.

The original person was made from some type of rubber. Molding was relatively simple. I placed the yellow person in a small plastic cup and poured the ComposiMold over.

A potential difficulty was with the hand. Because bubbles rise, any bubbles stuck under this area would stay there. So I had to tilt the cup a little and tap the sides.

After the ComposiMold is solidified by cooling, a mold release is sprayed into the mold cavity. Urethane (ComposiCast) is mixed together and poured into the crevice.

Thank you and Enjoy!
