Make/Duplicate The Little Mermaid Using Remold Putty and InstaMorph

Duplicate The Little Mermaid and your other toys, sculptures, or items.

First add 2 drops of the activator to the bag for every 1oz of ReMold Putty. I used 6oz of ReMold putty so I added 12 drops of the activator. It is not important to be super accurate. Next place the putty in the microwave for 20 second intervals until it feels like clay and there are no clumps. Make sure to use the included microwave safe bag and keep it closed.

Allow the putty to cool until it is comfortable enough to touch then thoroughly knead and smooth the putty. If the putty is to hot it will slowly droop, wait until the putty is cool enough to hold it shape before creating your mold.

Push your object into the putty then diligently press the putty around the object making sure all the voids are filled. Allow the first half to solidify (you can speed it up by placing it in the freezer.) Once it feels like a stiff rubber the putty is ready. Rub a thin layer of mold release onto the first half of the mold then create the second half by pressing it onto the first half. Allow the second half to solidify and you are ready to cast.

Now pour your moldable plastic into boiling water, we used shape lock moldable plastic in this video which works the same as InstaMorph and other moldable plastics. Once the plastic turns clear remove it from the water, shape it and push it into the mold.

Now that you have a shape that is closer to the original, trim the excess place it back in boiling water and push it into the mold again. Keep doing this until you have removed all the excess and the shape is perfect.

Try starting with one part molds it’s a lot easier and practical.

How To Make Custom Plastic LEGO Bionicle Masks At Home

After several requests to make Bionicles masks, we finally did it! We purchased a random Bionicle off EBay, and then we modified the mask using clay and basic sculpting techniques to create a really cool custom Bionicle mask design!  We molded the sculpted mask using ComposiMold Original then, we casted it using Clear Casting Plastic to turn it into a durable plastic part. Finally we painted it to give the mask style.

Make A Fairy garden!

Today we made a fairy garden! We used ComposiMold, a mould making material that is similar to silicone. However, unlike silicone molds ComposiMold can be re-used / re-melted. I was given the Fairy to mould a year ago but never got around to moulding it. Now that the flowers are out the Tooth Fairy sculpture seemed like the perfect project! It doesn’t get much cooler than mushrooms, Fairies, and flower gardens.

Despicable Me Minion Duplicating With ComposiMold.

Today we used concrete to create a Minion garden statue. Several months back, we created a yellow chocolate Minion cake topper for an Ises cake show. I recently found the left over minion mold laying around and decided to use it to create a concrete minion.

In today's video we feature a mold made of a Crazy Bone. A Toy based on an ancient Greece and Rome game called Knucklebones where children used sheep's knucklebones. Crazy Bones is a game, played with characters instead of sheep’s knucklebones. The game is played by lining up your crazy bones and your opponent lining up his/hers.  The first player chooses a Crazy Bone to flick at their opponents line up to knock down as many as possible. When a players Crazy Bones have all been knocked over, that person loses the game.

The mold was made using ComposiMold, we then poured Clear Casting Plastic into the mold and placed a tiny plastic man inside the liquid Clear Casting Plastic.

Today’s video is for Steven from the Philippians, he wanted us to create a tiny action figure accessory.

We decided it would be cool to create invisible medieval weapons for Wonder Woman to use against the wicked LEGO pirate. We looked through our box of toys and found a small sword; we then decided to make the sword transparent using Clear Casting Plastic. With the power of ComposiMold and Clear Casting Plastic an invisible sword was born!
